Dzmitryi Lukscha

Dzmitryi Luksha is a journalist who worked for many years at the Belteleradiocompany and was the former host of the program “Zona X.” On March 11, 2022, he was detained after a search of his apartment in Minsk. At that time, he was working as a freelance correspondent for the Kazakh TV channel Khabar 24, and the reason for his detention was his latest report for the channel. Under the same criminal case, his wife, Palina Palovinka, was also detained. The investigation claimed that Luksha, together with a cameraman, had prepared a series of video materials allegedly containing knowingly false information intended to discredit the country. Dzmitryi was released on July 3, 2024.
