1. WHO WE ARE

Release N:OW is a joint initiative launched in 2025 by politzek.me, FreeBelarusPrisoners – Association of Relatives of Political Prisoners and Former Political Prisoners, and Taskforce Belarus e.V.

We unite to campaign for the release of all political prisoners in Belarus. Our mission, values, and demands are outlined in our Manifesto, which is open for endorsement by individuals and organizations worldwide.

Through the Contact Form of the Manifesto

When you submit the form, you provide:

  • Your name
  • Your email address
  • Your country or location
  • Your organization (optional)
  • IP address and browser information (automatically collected)
  • Additionally, we store the time and IP address of your confirmation if you use forms that require email verification (double opt-in)

This data is used solely to respond to your inquiry and is not shared with third parties.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data for the following purposes:

  • To record your support in the campaign or petition
  • To contact you, if you give explicit permission
  • To ensure the technical functionality of our website
  • For forms with double opt-in, your data is only stored after you confirm your email via the link sent to you. This prevents misuse and ensures that the consent was given voluntarily.

We do not use your data for marketing or commercial purposes.

5. How Your Data is Stored

When you submit data via our website forms, the information is securely transmitted and stored in a private Google Sheets document. Access to this document is limited to authorized volunteers managing the campaign.

Google may process this information on its servers in compliance with European data protection standards, including the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

6. How Long We Keep Your Data
