Danuta Peradnia
Danuta Peradnia is an outstanding student who studied Romance-Germanic philology at the Mogilev State University named after Kuleshov. After her detention in February 2022, she was expelled from the university. Danuta was detained in Mogilev on February 27, 2022. On December 10, 2024, she was released on a pardon.
Freedom is about the strength of the spirit. A strong-spirited person cannot be deprived of inner freedom. But every person needs physical freedom to be able to live and do what gives them energy. Home, for me, is the warm refuge of my soul, the place that keeps my inner fire from going out even in the hardest moments. Life after imprisonment is a life you rebuild piece by piece, despite the difficulties and the overwhelming feeling of being lost. I know that the people who remain behind the walls are doing everything they can to preserve their strength — the strength that gives them hope to return home and be close to their loved ones again.
